Looking up into the sky, our moon seems closer to us than the planets. Do you know how long it takes to reach the Moon from Earth? Technology today can take us there in a bit over 72 hours. But it would take a few months to reach Mars. This scale provides an insight into the difficulty of exploring the shining stars in the sky. Yet, we can do it one step at a time. This video presents stories of the Earth and the other planets in our solar system, and provides a comparison of the eight planets. The precious images shown highlight the challenges of space exploration that we have withstood to gain a foothold in the solar system.
